Thanks to a microloan Ochaya can provide his community with commodities

Ochaya is a 30-year-old South Sudanese refugee in the Bidibidi Refugee Settlement. He is receiving a Bridging Gaps microloan provided by Athari Group and this is his story:

"My name is Ochaya, I live in a refugee camp, and am a storyteller volunteer with the Afri-Youth Network. I live in a community who loves me and I love them too. I want to take this opportunity to open a retail shop to bring positive impact to our community.

I will pay back the loan in installments every four months.

My vision is to see that the community which I live in has good health and lives a happy life."
